Top 10 Favorite Mystery Book Covers

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is a book cover freebie so I’ve chosen to spotlight my favorite cozy mystery book covers. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish but is currently being run by That Artsy Reader Girl. A theme is assigned every Tuesday, and I will hopefully be discussing it with you here each week.

A few of my choices, such as Aunt Dimity and the Summer King, Death on Windmill Way, and Heirs of the Body, I chose because I love the style of the artwork. However, others on the list I chose because, much like their genre name, something about the cover gives me a cozy feeling even though I know the story is going to contain murder and mayhem. These are the Laura Childs tea shop mysteries, Hannah Reed’s Scottish Highlands mysteries, and the Tourist Trap series by Lynn Cahoon. I mean seriously, don’t you want to walk into that bookstore on the cover of Guidebook To Murder?

If you participated in Top Ten Tuesday this week I’d love to see your list. Send me a link in the comments below. If you’d like to see my other TTT posts, you can find them here.

  1. Hello. 🙂 I don’t know if someone else is also facing this issue with your blog. This is the third time I followed your blog. I automatically get unfollowed in a couple of days. 😦 I wonder if there’s a glitch or something. Thought of letting you know here as there is no contact page available.

    1. Thank you for letting me know! I’ve noticed several people refollowing lately and had wondered about that. I’m not really sure what to do about it. I think I’ll send a message into WordPress and see what I find out. Thank you!
